The show returns from Commercial as Holly greets the audience

"Now back in the studio, let’s give away some prizes. Who want to win a top of the range Washer/Dryer combo?”

The crowd cheers are muted as this is far from the most attractive prize offered by the show. Two names come up on the big screen at Holly’s urging. David and Anne

“You two, come on down as we play Wash Day!

David and Anne are brought on stage where two swings are lowered from the ceiling. The swings have lap belts and at Holly’s urging they choose a swing each to sit on. A pair of stage-hands run on to secure them in place as Holly explains the next game.

“Today is ‘Wash Day’ so we’re going to see who is the best at washing themselves and their clothes. Your seats will raise you up and into a tank of water to wash in, submerging your body. In your left hands you have a buzzer, simply press the buzzer when you can’t take any more and want to come out. You’ll be submerged three times and once we total up the times, the person with the longest time wins the Washing machine.” Holly finished explaining the game when she noticed something that amused her. “I must say that having both contestants wearing white tops will make this a lot more interesting, so well done on your choice of clothes.”

David and Anne don’t get time to respond before their seats are raised upwards. A large glass tank is wheeled on stage and positioned directly below the two contestants.
