Walking the Futa

"Nita like Gulgua." Your futa says.

"Me too Nita, me too." While befriending aliens was a conscious strategic effort on your part, it also felt nice. Sure they might find it acceptable to come gawk at caged humans, but it was nice to know they weren't just out and out monsters.

The pair of you head back in and get dressed. You didn't need much cleaning up as Gulgua's slime had pulled away all the sweat and such off of your body. You have a big drink of water and a slice of food to refresh yourself. You sit and rest a while. It was nice to cool off after your near heat exhaustion with your visitor.

Not long after you hear the Gifter stop out front then fly off again. Before you can move Nita has zipped out and returned with the gift in her hand. It looked like a clear multi-colored octagonal piece of glass, the colors swirled and blended continuously and gave off a faint glow. In the center were symbols in an alien alphabet. Nita giggles as she reads it. "Gulgua like Nita and Happy too."

You take the plaque, if indeed that even is what it was, and place it proudly up on a shelf against the wall. A luxury would have been nice, but this heartfelt gift was much more valuable.

You walk to Nita and take her leash in your hand, which elicits a big smile from her. "Let's go for a walk Nita."

She nods enthusiastically.

"Listen, stay close. If anything happens you run home as fast as you can. Or find Nuru. Understand?" You say to her in a serious tone.

She nods, she seemed to have understood the general gist of it. You were worried about taking her out but you were even more worried about leaving her alone. You knew many of the human women didn't appreciate her presence and without a protective visitor pass on Nita was helpless to stop any aggression against her. It was time to go mingle with some visitors as well as show the other humans that Nita was no threat to them.

You head out the door and look around. You knew the direction of Claudia's hut, probably best to give that a wide berth. You choose the other direction instead. You hadn't had a chance to really explore the valley since getting here. You decide to head up toward the highest point, where the head of the stream entered the enclosure.

As you begin to stroll you continue your English lesson with Nita. Pointing things out, correcting her, giving her alternative phrases, etc. You keep your voice down and you go quiet once visitors get into earshot. When you hit the first path, instead of ignoring the aliens as is what the humans here generally did, you stop to acknowledge the small group of them. This tickles them to no end. Nita continues to be hissed at and insulted but you do your best to keep yourself between her and them. Eventually you are able to grab their attention and Nita is mostly ignored.

You notice what looks to be a little girl with her parents. They had an insectoid look to them, antennae and huge compound eyes, but they were bipedal and had no exoskeleton. They had four arms like Goro from Mortal Kombat and their musculature was a bit odd. Time to start the charm offensive.

You reach down and pick a flower that was growing nearby. Taking it toward the path, keeping Nita behind you, you place the blossom as close as you could near the feet of the girl. You then step back and give her a warm smile. She looks at it excitedly then looks to her parents. It was hard to read but they seem to give her an approving sign. She bends down and takes up the flower, holding it by the stem with both of her bottom hands. A little ripple of chatter and amused noises go through the gathered visitors. You stay and talk with them a time, even though none of them know what you are saying, before moving on. When you start to go a few of the visitors, less than before, begin to hurl **** at your pink haired friend once more.

As you move away you hug your little futa around the shoulder and whisper to her. "Don't listen to them Nita, I think you're wonderful."

She snuggles into your side. "Happy wonderful too."

Your activities had attracted the attention of a trio of nearby humans who were sitting in a row near a large bright green bush. You put on your friendliest smile and approach them. As you approach they look nervous, you see their eyes darting between you and Nita as they wonder if they should stay or go. They hadn't expected you to head in their direction, they had been trying to discreetly watch you from a distance.

You don't give them the opportunity to make the decision to flee, you call to them as you walk swiftly toward them. "Hello ladies!" They stand and look as you walk up and stop. "Hello. You're name is, uh, Deepati right?" You indicate the one on the left.

Her eyebrows go up, surprised at your memory. "Deepali actually."

You grin. "Right, Deepali. I'm sorry I can't remember you two...I was so overwhelmed when we gathered that first day." You apologize.

They don't seem to take offense. The one in the middle says. "I'm Martina and this is Fatma."

You nod, taking note. "Let me guess.... Indian, Spanish, and...er...Iranian?" You actually had no clue on the last one. She was tanned and dark haired like the other two, but had piercing ice blue eyes. All of them looked to be somewhere between their late twenties to mid thirties. Deepali was shorter than the other two and Fatma was more curvaceous, especially in the hips and butt. All three had long black hair which ranged in natural waviness from Deepali's straight hair to Martina's smoothly curving locks, Fatma's multicolored head scarf mostly covered hers.

Deepali laughs. "One out of three. Indian, Argentinian, and Ottoman." Ottoman? You were pretty sure that meant Turkish.

"Hey at least I got one! My name is Happy and this is Nita." You indicate your companion. You see nervousness in their eyes as they look at Nita so you quickly skip the conversation along. "Hey, coming to the party tonight?" You say in a warm tone.

They look at each other unsure. "Yeah, we heard about that." Martina says. With less than thirty humans in this little community it would be pretty hard not to hear about news like that. "Of course we'll be there, at least for a little. We don't often have events like this. Nuru's even convinced me to bring my guitar."

"Ha! That's great!" You say. "Hey, I kind of hate to ask this but...do you know any, ya know, slow romantic songs." You grin. "I'd like to ask Abigail to a slow dance." You figured there was no point hiding your interest in your hutmate, better this was out in the open. Besides, the rumor mill already had put it together anyway.

You feel as their cautious demeanor melts just a bit more, they thought your request was sweet. Martina nods. "Of course. I know a few songs that will work magic on your lady friend." She gives you a wink.

You all exchange a few more pleasantries.

Out of the corner of your eye you notice Nita listening intently and staring at each persons mouth as they spoke. To her ear there were four different languages being spoken here. You also notice looks being returned, they were not particularly friendly looks. Nita seemed to be the one sour note to this interaction so far, through no fault of her own.

Fatma, who had been mostly quiet until now, suddenly pipes up. "Tell me, will Abigail get her own leash as well?" You look to the Turk, her pale eyes piercing in more ways than one. "Perhaps a muzzle for Nuru? Are you starting a kennel?"

You shake your head. "Don't misunderstand this. First of all the collar and leash cannot be removed, so it isn't there by my choice. Secondly, I hold the leash for her sake, not mine. She feels safer this way. She's scared Fatma, she is totally alone now. You saw how the other aliens treated her, we humans are all she's got now."

The woman continues to press. "When you tire of Abigail will you toss her from her own hut or will you come claim one of ours for you and your alien plaything? Will you move in with Claudia like you males usually do? Perhaps you'll use a few of us up first, or perhaps a few casual rapes. Sample the goods before settling on your special chosen one? Or more likely we humans aren't good enough for you anymore now that you've got her. And why do you have her anyways? Are you working with the futas? What could they possibly want from zoo animals?"

She was testing you, prodding you, her eyes taking your measure. She was trying to shake you up with her flurry of questions to see your reaction. Just the way she was looking at you...you recognized a superior intelligence when you saw it. You could just tell that this woman was sharp as a whip. Luckily, you had nothing to hide. Your friendly grin returns. "Listen, it is not like that. I don't know what happened here before but I am as much a prisoner here as you guys. I am just one of you, nothing more. I am responsible for Nita and she is my friend. I genuinely like Nuru and Abigail. I'm not using anyone or trying to trick anyone. I'm just trying to get along, like the rest of you."

Deepali puts a hand on her friends shoulder. "Take it easy Fatma. He's still new."

Fatma nods, seemingly satisfied for the time being. "Of course, I apologize Happy." She bows her head briefly then looks at you a moment longer. "But know this. I do not trust you yet. Or your futa." She states openly.

"Her name is Nita." You say. "And you know what? That is fair enough Fatma, fair enough. I appreciate your honesty. Looks like we'll have to earn your trust." You then quip. "I'm sure you'll warm up to us after a couple hundred years."

The other two chuckle, even Fatma smiles a bit.

Deepali is looking at you closely. "You're so different from Micheal. I mean, I know it is still early on, but still. You...you remind me of my brother. He was a kind funny man." She laughs, a laugh tinged with melancholy.

You grin and say in a sympathetic tone. "He sounds like a good guy." You then point up the valley. "So, Nita and I were taking a stroll up there. We wouldn't mind some company."

They are still uneasy about the alien in their midst but with nothing better to do they agree. You coming here followed closely by Nita's arrival was easily the most interesting thing to happen around here in quite some time, they simply couldn't pass up an opportunity to get to know you and your alien interloper.

Together the five of you continue your walk.
