Walk to downtown

Seeing as you're already out and have no ride, you decide to walk to the busiest part of the city; downtown. There's plenty of shopping you could do (you aren't exactly broke), plenty of people you could bump into and if you aren't too tired, there's plenty of clubs you could visit. You proudly walk past a few streets, but you notice that something is a bit off.

"Is that van following me?" you think to yourself as a beat up white van cruises down the street slowly. The driver, whoever it is, doesn't seem to be in a hurry and you're the only person on the street so far. Suspicious, you begin to walk faster and don't look back.

What you could try is to run back and hope the van isn't following you, or at least that you can escape the driver. You could try to run through a nearby alley or continue on your way. You choose.
