Wake up Call

"Uh? What?" he asked. He sat up and look around, the class room was empty.

Miss Furr was standing over him. "John you fell asleep. Class is over."

"Oh dear," he answered. "I am so sorry."

"Don't worry I watched you in class you are always done well before class is even near over." She smiled and kissed him on the forehead. "You're a sweet kid, now go home," she chuckled.

John rushed outside. It was pouring down rain outside. He leaned against the door. The cold metal freezing his back he waited and blanked out a for second, lost in his senses. Then he went on to his car.

But before he got anywhere near to his car he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around meet the lovely face of Sarah Sorayama, his lab partner. “John, I’m so glad your here. My car just completely died. Can I ,please, bum a ride from you?”

He looked into her deep soft green eyes. The sent of lavender drifted from her long black hair. A thought, new to him, entered his mind and as it did once again the serpent was awakened. She needed a ride home. Standing in the freezing rain, she looked so pitifull that it would be hard to say no, but then he was already late getting home, he was worn out.
