Chapter 7
by GoodBoy
Wait to execute the next step with Jenny, or do something else first?
Wait two days for the Friday class.
You get to the lecture hall early on Friday, but Jenny isn’t there early for a change. You glance at your watch several times as the other students fill in the rows and rows of seats.
Just as you’re about to start the class, you see Jenny sneak in and take a seat at the back. You can barely see her from that far away, but she seems to be wearing much looser clothing than before. Brown slacks and a baggy sweatshirt.
“All right, Everybody quiet!” you yell at the rumbling mob. “Let’s get through this, I’m sure you all want to start the weekend just as much as I do.”
The class drags on forever. Questions about why Jenny is dressed so plainly haunt you. Did you overdo it last time? Is she suspicious? You try to wrap the class up quickly, but end up covering the material badly, giving the kids way too many follow up questions.
The class eventually ends. You try not to stare as Jenny walk towards you from the back.
“Professor?”
“Yes?” You smile with as much charm as you can. Her blush and shy smile seem like a good sign.
“Can I talk to you for a minute?” She looks around. “Privately?”
“Sure, Jenny. I was just about to take a walk through the Quad. Would you like to join me?”
She nods. You notice that she’s not wearing any make-up. Maybe she was trying to look less alluring, but her freckled face is even cuter without anything covering it up.
The two of you walk outside. Nobody says anything for the first minute. You consider giving her a little nudge with your powers, but it seems like a good idea to wait. That way you can get a more accurate test of how she’s reacting to the thoughts you planted in her last time.
As you pass the bell tower the pretty redhead says, “I’m really, really, really sorry about how I acted the other day!”
You smile. “Oh, don’t be. It’s my fault for getting you drunk!”
Jenny laughs. “I only had one cup of wine. That’s hardly an excuse for jumping you!”
“Well, at least you’ll grant me that I wasn’t a perfect gentleman. I didn’t exactly push you away.”
“No, it was my fault. I was just so…” Silence.
“You were ‘just so…’ what, Jenny?”
“Oh God,” she says, “This is so embarrassing. I get so worked up when I’m around you. I was acting like a total slut. I even wore my date clothes to class that day. And… and… and last night I had a dream about you.’
You raise a sly eyebrow and smile. “A sexy dream?”
She covers her adorable face and laughs. “Stop it! Don’t make fun of me!”
“I’m not.” You stop walking and put a hand on her shoulder. “Like I said, you made the first move, but I wasn’t exactly holding back last time.”
“Last time? You mean like there might be another time?” her voice sounds hopeful.
“Jenny, if someone in my position were to ask someone in your position how discreet she could be, what do you think she would say?” You make absolutely sure not to give any mental commands. You have to know the answer she’ll give even when you’re not influencing her.
Jenny just stares at you for a moment.
“Yes!” she blurts out, “Absolutely! She’d be completely discreet!”
You pull out a piece of paper and a pen. “Here’s my address. How about you meet me there tomorrow night at 7 and we discuss this further?”
Jenny nods and takes the paper. She looks like she’s about to say something, but instead she leans forward and plants a kiss on your cheek, then runs off.
Wait for tomorrow night?
