Wait for Courtney

Deciding your chances with these girls isn't great and your good friend Courtney is about to be single so you head back into the front room to keep tabs on how her conversation is going. You use the time to catch up on what people have been up to. You watch Tyler get increasingly aggravated and Courtney get more and more upset. Eventually after an hour of them talking you see Tyler leave, clearly pissed at what just happened.

You hurry over to Courtney and notice tears in her eyes. Seeing you approaching she tries to hide them by wiping them away.

"Are you alright Courtney?"

"I'm fine." Courtney lies "Why?"

"You don't look fine, come here." You open your arms to her "Let me give you a hug."

"Thanks John." She returns with a long tight hug. "I don't know why I'm so sad. I broke up with him."

"You still just ended a three year relationship. It's natural to be sad about that kind of loss. Even if you ended it."

"At least I still have you around."

"For you, of course."

She smiles at that. "Let's get out of here, people are staring."

"Okay, let me take you home then."

"Crap...You can't. Ty said to not come back tonight."

"Oh, then where where did you plan on staying?"

"I didn't... I didn't think he'd react this badly... I thought it was obvious we were drifting apart."

"Well, what about your parents' then?"

"No. I can't."

"Why not?"

"They never approved of me moving in with Tyler." she looks down. "If I go back, they'll never let me forget it."

"Alright. Maybe you should..."
