Wait downstairs for mom and Derek [Lindas POV]

Linda sighed and finished breakfast. This did take a while, but whatever it was that Derek and her mom were discussing upstairs, it was taking longer.

She shrugged and decided to wait for them. It wasn't like she did not have anything to do. She went into her mothers bathroom. It was a smaller one as it did not have a shower. She used the shower upstairs once she and her brother were out of the house, usually. However, she did have all Linda needed for her make up. And so she began fully undoing and then redoing it. It was hard for her to get the right amount however. Derek had told her to do it like it was before she first messed it up. That meant the amount she had after he had her put on more twice, right? Or the time before that?

She decided to go with the smaller amount. Adding more was possible later easier. Once done she went back into the kitchen and not a second to late, as she heard both of them coming down the stairs.

As she turned around and saw her mother joining the kitchen once more she was shocked.
