Visit the library

Angelica wandered through the chaotic streets, bracing herself against a chill wind blowing up from the water. She noticed an impressive library, white marble with large columns. She walked in and was glad to be inside. She wandered the stacks of books, noting many tomes of history and of far-off places. They were mostly studied by old men who regarded her with interest. Then she noticed a section of interest to her: the occult.

She wandered the aisles of dusty books. Magic always interested Angelica, but she wasn't very interested in reading and studying, so she couldn't be bothered learning any.

She turned a corner and was brought face-to-face with a thin man who regarded her carefully. He had deep dark eyes and black skin, and a big book under his arm. "Hello, princess," he said evenly. "I've been waiting for you."

Angelica recoiled slightly. She had come looking for adventure, and it appeared that it had found her.
