Chapter 4 by nightcat nightcat

What to do with this information?

Visit a 'friend'.

You have an idea about who might have the countess' daughter, but if you're right it's going to take more work then you're comfortable with to free her. It's going to involve trading, **** and sweet-talking and you won't know if your hunch is on point until afterward. For now you decide to send the knight back home with a warning, a written one as you don't trust him to remember your words. You're polite about it but you basically tell people not to bother you without good reason, that you haven't done anything nefarious in almost a century and that there are only three reasons for a dragon to kidnap a human none of which interest you. the first reason is food and humans don't taste good to you, the second is ransom and you make more money with forging and enchanting then **** would, the last reason is breeding. You have to admit that humans are good for sex and some of them are quite good for breeding. You don't want kids however and you can have sex with mermaids or orcs whenever you want so humans are just not worth the trouble. You also mention that you will investigate the missing girl because you don't want more knights attacking you because of her.

The person you suspect of having kidnapped the girl is a witch you occasionally have business with. She enjoys seducing young men and slowly feminizing them until they are basically slutty girls with tiny cocks. As the youngest of countess Nerissa's sons has a very feminine appearance he's a prime target. Especially as the knight's firm belief that she has at least one daughter makes you suspect that the countess had him pretend to be a daughter instead at certain events. The witch might not be the one who took him so you wonder if the boy is worth the trouble of interacting with her, you usually get cranky for months if not years after meeting her after all.

Keeping her earlier question in mind you ask Lavender what she thinks. ''I say we pay the witch a visit. If the boy is too far gone to be rescued you could just give him to me. And if she doesn't have him she probably knows who does. But ket's be thoroughly prepared before we go, and yes I insist in coming with you, I'm not giving you a chance to ditch me now that you're thinking about a possible engagement dear.''

How do you prepare?
