Visit Your Best Friend

You drive to a branch of your bank and deposit the check. You then decide to tell your best friend Dave about your new power.

As you drive to Dave's, you have some fun, women walking on the sidewalk find their clothing disappearing, leaving them naked in public. A guy in a corvette who cuts you off, finds his corvette changed into a rusted old Chevy Nova with no AC.

You pull up to Dave's apartment building. It's low rent, but not in a bad neighborhood. You park your SUV and head up to his apartment. Dave answers the door. He's wearing a pair of baggy gym shorts and a t-shirt. It's his day off from his job as a clerk at a video game store. He goes to school nights to study computer science. "What's up, dude?"

"You won't believe this, but I can manipulate reality," you tell him.

"Yeah, and I'm dating Brenda Song!"

"Seriously, I can..." You're interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Fuck," says Dave, "I bet that's the property manager. I'm late with rent." He walks over to the door and looks through the peephole. "Yep, it's her."

"What's she wearing?" you ask.

"What's that got to do with anything?" Dave looks through the hole. "Looks like jeans and short sleeve black sweater. "

"Let her in."

Dave opens the door and an attractive woman in her late thirties or early forties comes in, but instead of wearing jeans and a sweater, she's wearing a see through lacy bra and matching panties, garters, and white hose.

She puts her hands on her hips. "So, Dave, late with rent again?" She asks, oblivious to how she is now dressed.

Dave just stares in stunned silence.

"Dave doesn't have to pay rent," you tell the woman.

She looks at you for a moment. "Oh, I forgot about that."

"Yes, he's living here for free. You were the one that said he should."

"Um, yeah, now I remember," she said. "how do you know?"

"Oh, Dave told me."

Dave looked at you then at the woman then back at you. You wink at him.
