Vibit went to sea.

There were certain magical reagents that Vibit sought for his latest projects. There was an island south of Rata Sum that supposedly possessed such reagents, though he needed to wait for a ship to set sail that direction before he could investigate. Finally, one was heading close enough to the location, so he paid some coin and climbed aboard.

Only a dozen or so people were there as well, though he kept to himself as he usually did. This time, he didn't even people-watch, as he was too busy planning what he was going to do once they arrived.

A day or so passed, and it was still crystal blue in every direction. He wondered how much longer it would be, as he definitely wasn't accustomed to being on a boat for long periods of time.

Vibit was on the back deck of the boat, looking out at the water that flowed behind them. He left others alone, and in turn, nobody had been speaking to him either. They didn't know him, after all. That was why he was caught off guard by the approach of footfalls, and the arrival of a woman that leaned her hands on the edge of the ship directly next to him. When she looked down to make contact with his eyes, she smiled, and it caused his heart to jump.

She was a beautiful sylvari. Despite them being plant-like beings, they were almost anatomically identical to humans. However, in appearance, they had an otherworldly beauty. She had smooth, blue skin, soft lips, while her dark blue--nearly black--leafy hair flowed back down passed her neck, and ended in luminescent cyan tips which matched the glow of her eyes. Her ears came to short, pointed tips as well. Though she wore a white dress that concealed much of her form, he could tell she had a curvy, stunning body. The only glimpse he got passed the fabric clinging over an impressive chest, was a cut up the bottom of the dress, which revealed a single one of her slender legs.

"Are you enjoying the trip so far?" she asked, with a warm and comforting tone.

He eyed her up and down. "It could be worse, I suppose."

"Why do you stand alone?"

"I'm just trying to get somewhere is all."

She chuckled. "Well, that's no reason to not introduce herself."

"R-Right. Sorry. I'm Vibit."

"A pleasure to meet you," she said with a curtsy. "My name is Elleen. May I ask why you're travelling?"

"I'm an engineer. It's my passion to keep pushing the boundaries of what I can create, and certain magical reagents are harder to find than others. I need some things for my inventions."

Elleena looked impressed. "Wow. You must be very smart!"

Vibit couldn't help but feel bashful. "Well, I guess I am, yes."

"Perhaps you can teach me a thing or two on this trip. We can speak again tomorrow if you'd like."

"S-Sure. That sounds nice," Vibit instinctively agreed.

I just can't say no... he thought.
