Vanessa

"Vanessa's right. We can't be too careful."

Will looks at you, and for an instant he is disappointed, but he quickly recovers. Vanessa is positively beaming, and practically drags you to the tent the two of you are set to share. As the group begins to settle down for the night, Vanessa gives you a questioning look.

"Soooooooo....."

"What's up?"

"Are you tired?"

"I don't think tired begins to cover it. I'm exhausted. I don't know if I can stay awake for another second."

"I don't think I'll be able to sleep any time soon..."

You chuckle at that. "Well that certainly makes one of us!"

You look at Vanessa, and are surprised to see what looks like a scowl cross her face. It is there only for an instant before she composes herself. She flashes you a warm smile and says, "If you're tired that's ok. I guess I just thought this would be a good time for us to...get to know each other a bit better, without the rest of the group distracting us..."

There definitely seemed to be a bit of an innuendo there, but you aren't sure. Vanessa is tough to read. After the day you've had, you're exhausted, but maybe some...physical comfort...is just what you need. Then again, you aren't 100% sure you that's what she meant. Maybe it's better to play it safe and just strike up a friendly conversation.
