Vampires

As a clarification, the vampires you are about to delve into rarely, if ever, will interact with any of the other creatures, save regular humans, which they consider "cattle". They very closely resemble the vampires of Anne Rice's writings, complete with a strict hierarchy and even more rigid laws.

One difference lends itself to the structure of the vampire hierarchy: it is splintered among several rival groups. Each city has its own structure, with a "Prince" at the top (the term Prince is both masculine and feminine in this usage), but each city, depending on its majority allegiance, answers to higher powers.
