Use the crowd to help you

With the lack of action comes an air of anticipation. There's no doubt of the Warrior's plan, slip back in the ring & blindside you. You don't know that you'd be fast enough to catch her in the act. But maybe you don't have to be.

There's a thousand eyes here, someone will help me find her.

You stand by the ropes & try to say 'hmm what to do' with your body. Looking out at the crowd, you find the fan who told you where your foe went hiding. You move your head left & right in contemplation, while actually keeping your eyes on them.

Pacing the rope, 'oh where is she.'

The fan sees nothing.

Wheeling around sharply, 'I thought I heard something.'

The fan sees nothing.

Hands on your hips, long contemplative sigh, 'what to do, what to do?'

The fan thinks they see something.

Don't react yet.

Throw your hands down, 'come on, come out already.'

The fan sees the Warrior, right behind you.

Even straining your ears you almost don't hear her enter. To the unsuspecting her footfall would be silent. You soon hear the heavy steps of a sprinter.

Now!

Without looking back you pivot on your foot & your foe whizzes past you with inches to spare. When she hits the ropes & rebounds, you complete your pivot & put a discus forearm through her jaw. Your combined momentum snaps the Warrior's head sideways as her body tumbles forward with a spin. She hits her back with maybe 10% consciousness. You give her no recovery time & lay down a lateral press & hook the far leg. The official counts 1... 2... 3.

The announcer speaks your mind when he says "I can't believe that worked. Last Warrior suckered in & put down with 1 hit. I wouldn't count on that trick working twice."

That's alright, once is enough.

You decide to take your respite at ringside. Finding the helpful fan, you give them a great big high 5, for the role they don't even know they played.
