Upstairs.

She starts going upstairs and you start to follow her before realizing it leads to one room, her room. You start going back down when she grabs your arm and pulls you up.

Once you get there she quietly shuts the door behind you, engulfing you both in darkness. She mumbles something and a few candles spaced around the room begin emanating dim light.

There's only one bed in her room since she's used to sleeping alone, and you wonder what she has planned.

"Why did you bring me up here?"

"You uh...started to come up, so I thought...you don't have to if you don't want!" She suddenly looked really worried.

"No! It's ok, I just didn't realize...do you want me to uhm..make..?..here."

You begin making your own makeshift bed when she stops you.

"Hey.." she kneels down and looks into your eyes with her usual amber brilliance, "I know this is really awkward, that's my fault. I don't know what I'm doing, as you saw I'm pretty much alone all the time...you can sleep in my bed if you like, I uh..might not see you again in a long time if you still plan on leaving tomorrow and it's not often..or really..ever, that I meet people, especially not like you. I get..lonely." she sets her robe down.

"Are you sure?"

She nods, "If you would rather sleep on the floor, I won't stop you sleeping there either, but yeah I'm sure, I've..kinda always wanted to sleep with someone.." she catches herself too late, "n-not in a sexual way! Not that I don't find that appealing either! I-I just-"

You cut her off with a smile, "I know what you mean, if you don't mind then I'll...sleep with you," you blush slightly. (nowhere near as much as she is)

"Alright" she says with a deep breath, and begins taking off clothing, pulling the strings that hold such medieval clothing on. You respectfully look away.

"Daniel?"

"Yeah?"

"I don't mind if..if you look..."

"Oh..ok" you turn around and see her holding her hand out, middle finger pressed to thumb.

She looks into your eyes and you're not sure what you see in them, but you seem to lose yourself in their clear vibrant tone.
