"Pardon my impudence miss, but did I hear you say that you needed a flight to Santos Marcelito. " asked a skinny guy with glassed wearing a light grey business suit that was standing behind her.

"Yes... What do you want?" asked MacKenzie.

"It's more what I can offer you. My name is Jonathan Nelson, I'm a freelance programmer. Some of my friends from around the world organized a little meet around on Santos Marcelito this year and I have tickets on the next flight. " he explained.

" You have an extra ticket? Won't the person you bought it for need it? " she asked, seeing some hope in this situation. If she was sure to be on the next plane they could phone the other airport to have them keep her bag safe for when she arrives.

" Well it's a little embarrassing. I pretended to some of my friends that I have a girlfriend and that we just got married. I had found a girl that accepted to pretend to be her for the trip but she slipped in her bathtub and broke her leg last night. I would gladly give you her ticket if you accepted to pretend to be my wife when I go meet my friends. It won't be all the time and you will be free to enjoy the resort on your own. " he proposed.

MacKenzie thought hard about it, she was sure that the previous girl just bailed out from having to pretend to be this needy guy's wife and probably asked for more than a free trip for this. She had doubts about what he meant by pretending to be his wife, just being there to be introduced as Mrs Nelson wouldn't be much for a free plane ticket but she hoped he had not much more in mind.

I booked the largest suite and there are other beds but you will have to sleep in my room, having you in an other room will give it away. And you will have to wear this for the trip.
