Uh oh...

You wake up from your nap and roll over. Oh shit! It's 6:30! That means Sami should have came home about 30 minutes ago. You run downstairs and walk into the living room. Nobody's there. Well shit, maybe she's running late. You look over at your computer and realize that the video you had opened was still there. Damn, pretty lucky she's late too, or that would have been really embarrassing. You close the window for sure this time and walk into the kitchen to make dinner.

After preparing dinner and getting halfway done through cooking it, you hear your guest door open. Well, you don't exactly remember there being ghosts in your apartment. Then you hear footsteps coming down the stairs. Oh shit...

Sami comes down the stairs instantly noticing you. "Hey, John! Glad to see you making dinner for us!" You start to internally sweat as your stomach knots. Did she see the video open on my computer? Oh god, I'm not even into that shit that much? Does think I'm a freak now? "Y-yeah, of course. I wouldn't want my dear going hungry. Especially since she just came back home." You manage to **** out, while still internally freaking out.

"Oh, thanks so much! You're the best. She says as she almost skips into the living room. She sits down, turns the TV on and starts watching it. While you continue to make dinner, you manage to strike some conversation. "So, how did it go with your friends?" She turns around on the couch and looks at you. "I haven't seen them in forever, it was almost kind of awkward. They all, changed a little and since I went to college somewhere else for so long, I changed too, but differently."

After continuing conversation for about 10 minutes, you're finally done cooking. You bring out plates of food, water and wine. You both enjoy the meal greatly. "John, where did you learn to cook like this?" You look at her with a mischievous smile. "After you left, I took a couple cooking classes since I was living by myself. I even got a credit at college for taking one." She looks at you, grateful and surprised. "Well, I'm glad you did because that's better than my mom's cooking, and she's had more time to learn." You both chuckle at the thought of your cooking being better than someone who's well into their 40's.

"So, what do you want to do?" Sami asks you, looking your direction. A couple of wine glasses went down already, so you're both feeling a little tipsy. "Well, I'm not exactly sure. Are you still into video games? I have a PS4 we can both play if you want to get your ass whooped. Or we could do something else?"

"Well, I have an idea of what we can do."
