Thomas Roger was a handsome young man with black hair and violet eyes, which he inherited from his mother. He was rather thin and had quite little muscle. But what he lacked in strength was compensated by wisdom: his intelligence was unrivaled, even among students of Plus Ultra Academy, where more than 90% genius in the US faction gathered.

He received a student grant from the Academy, but due to having to take care of his crippled sister, Thomas had to work in his free time.

Today he just returned from the workplace, intended to go to the store, and buy a present for his younger sister's 18th birthday. But when he went through an alley, he witnessed a traffic accident. Two trucks slammed at each other, and when he arrived at the site, both drivers were dead.

As he inspects the crash, he heard a voice in his mind. Looking around, he felt that came from a capsule. He came over and touched it.

The capsule opened, and a girl who was covered in bandage fell out.
