Two infected time bombs

The paramedics quickly arrived to the ER pushing two stretchers. On one of them there was an **** woman. She had a sidecut hairstyle and tattoos on her arms and back. On the other one, there was a large man with both of his hands handcuffed to the stretcher and he was moving violently trying to break free from his bindings, the only thing that he was wearing were the tattered remains of a business shirt that was too small for his fit body and a sheet covering his lower half. Andrew tried to ignore the huge tent that was under the sheet but Abi was less professional and she was staring at him, unable to hide her curiosity.

"The girl was found out cold outside of a bar, she isn't waking up no matter how hard we try, however her pulse and temperature are above the normal limits, might be a weird case of overdose," explained one of the paramedics as he moved the girl inside one of the rooms of the ER.

"As for this gentleman, he scared some joggers in the park before a security officer restrained him and called 911. We were the first to arrive and since the police were taking too long, we decided to bring him here since he is obviously having some kind of psychotic attack. He had no personal effects or ID, then again he literally had nothing but the clothes on his back," reported the other paramedic as he put the patient in a different room. He quickly took off the handcuffs, placed him on the ER bed, and restrained his arms and legs with leather cuffs.

"Well they are all yours, good luck!" the paramedics finished the paperwork in record time and left the ER. It looks like they really didn't want to be near the agitated man and Andrew couldn't blame them. He asked one of the nurses to call the police, however she wasn't able to get in contact with the police station. Now Andrew was really starting to get worried, he was about to check the news on his phone when something happened to the patients.

Things are about to branch out after this episode, I am always open for suggestions in case you have a specific scenario in mind. Also this is my first time writing so any feedback is appreciated.
