Twilight

The last of the suns rays disappeared , leaving the small clearing bathed in the light of the rising full moon, the clearing was dominated by a large pool , its surface still almost glowing in the white light of the moon and stars.

Jana had been led here by the others of her order all dressed exactly the same in robes,plain off white , tied at the waist with a simple cord , the material was rough and itched horribly, two female druids one to each side of her led her to the pool.

Entering the pool a quick shiver ran up her spine but the others led her deeper, there robes floating up slightly as they went, reaching her shoulders the others lifted the garment form her leaving her naked in the water, supporting her back they laid her back so she completely submerged , pulling her up then combing her wet hair straight down her back.

Finishing the cleanse, the three exited the pool the two druids clothes clinging to the bodies while Jana stood naked in the night, more druids approached all holding small pots, she knew they contained balms of oils and herbs, they proceeded to rub the oils all over her skin, her nipples hardened with the caress and cold of the night, and she almost yelped as one druids coated her sex.

The process complete her skin tingled pleasantly . a wonderful fragrance surrounded her, she no longer noticed the cold , the arch-druid approached, the only member to carry a staff tonight

"Are you ready to receive the blessing of the goddess, do you give yourself to the mother?"

Jana had been well briefed in the procedure

"I am" she spoke clear and strong " The forest endures"

The Arch druid took her hand leading her to the biggest tree on the edge of the clearing, as he stepped back he left something in her hand, looking down Jana saw it was a sprig of mistletoe, looking back at the assembled group she raised the sprig the the tree pressing it against it, it shimmered slightly her hand felt no resistance, stepping forward she disappeared from the clearing....
