Turn eastwards and through the forest (B)

Continuing the march on the next day, passing many a pleasant sight. I suddenly feel a ghastly chill running through my bones as the forest we'd been marching through gets a lot denser, with its large pine trees towering hauntingly above. An almost hellish sounding roar pierces my ears as we set foot in this part of the forest. Probably a sound made by the trees, creaking in the wind yet frightening at the same time. A low lying mist starting to slowly creep closer. Sensing that it would be easy to get lost here I order the troops to follow more closely.

Half a day passes as we make way through the thick fog and I ask my advisor if he's sure that we're still going in the right direction. "Look!" Roderick gasps in awe as he stares at the stone structure dooming up in front of us, strangely erected almost in the shape of a male phallus. An old man wrapped in a black cloak hails us. "Welcome at our humble temple travellers. This is the temple of the greatest Deity of all,namely the great Lord Baal himself." He suddenly frowns as we ride closer and he's able too make out our faces.

Immediately he turns to Roderick. "What are you doing bringing a creature like this woman to sacred ground?! And dressed as a soldier no less! Only if she's pregnant, a woman may enter our temple so they can pray for a strong healthy son." "Her feeble aura will only disrupt the currently proceeding ceremony and anger Baal himself by being here." "Just leave this place immediately and don't come back!"
