Try to Talk them Down

"Look, I don't know how to tell you this but - I have no idea," he gives, honestly. Hands up in the air to show he's unarmed despite how exposed that leaves him. The redhead is the one to look between them now, and the first to ask.

"What does that even mean?"

"I mean I don't remember what my name is, I just woke up in a tank. Do you three have any spare clothes?" he asks, honestly. Not that they weren't pretty but there was an appropriate place and time for everything.

"You don't remember, how convenient." the black woman responds first but the next question comes from the blonde.

"What do you remember?"

"That I speak English. Then waking up in that tank - maybe an hour ago?"

"We got to help him, Norma." the blonde directs at the black woman.

"No, we don't. He could be hiding anything back there. He could be planning to **** and kill us, he could -"

"He doesn't even have pants on, got those sweat pants we salvaged Sabrina?" asks the redhead, putting her gun down and stepping forward.

"Sure thing, Iris."

"Ladies, I'm not sure this is a good idea," Norma tries to interject, now the only one with her gun still up.

"Norma - if there was a **** camp in here we would of heard about it by now. And, frankly, even if he was a **** you really want to be known as the woman that killed the last man on Earth?"

He drops his jaw when he hears that, absentmindedly accepting the sweat pants and trying them on. They're cut for a woman, and a short one at that - but they cover up what needs covered up.

"What did you just say?"

"Oh, you didn't know?" Iris responds as she steps back, motioning that he should follow.

"A biological weapon attack - some sort of synthetic virus that targeted the y-gene. All the Men were wiped out three years ago." Iris offers, being sympathetic.

"Well, alright - but he needs a name. Come on Sperm Bank." Norma offers darkly as she finally puts her gun down.

"Norma, that's just mean. How about...Y? For Y-Gene." Sabrina offers, and Y is too shell-shocked to argue.
