Try to Talk Her Down.

"Cassia." You say firmly, but without malice. "I assure you, that's not the way of it. I have no intention of doing to you what those men would have."

"Y-you lie." Cassia says, glaring at you. "There are thousands of strange men in this city, and they all want the same thing, the very thing the men who live here only want. A warm body to use as they please."

"I am not like those men." You say simply.

"Your manhood betrays you, Adonis." Cassia points at your penis, which, to your dismay, is still rock hard and making a tent of your pants. "It tells me your true intentions. You would defile my body and take my virginity as any other man would."

"You are a beautiful woman, Cassia." You agree with her. "And I would lie if I said I did not like the idea of deflowering you. But it is not something I would steal from you. I would only enter your temple with your permission." Your eyes meet hers and you can see her will breaking slightly. "Please trust me, Cassia. I did not save you just to condemn you to the same fate."

"I have s-seen so many of my friends abused at the hands of these monsters." Cassia whispers, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her voice was breaking up.

"That is all there is left in this world, m-men who are monsters. There is no such thing as heroes anymore, who save people out of g-goodwill." She sobs and chokes on her words. "H-how do I know I can trust you?"

You stand up and slowly go to the scabbard at your side. Cassia flinches as you draw the blade, letting a metallic ring go through the air. You turn the sword around and hold it by the metal. You set it down on the ground and slide it over to Cassia, the hilt by her hand. Then you sit back down. "If you truly believe me to be a monster, then strike me down." You say simply. Cassia stares at you for a minute, then at the sword. Slowly, she picks it up and shakingly gets to her feet. You wonder if you just made a huge mistake as she carefully makes her way over to you. She looks down at you for a minute, the sword shaking in her hand. Then it drops to the floor with a clang and Cassia dives into your arms, crying and holding you tightly.

"I trust you. I trust you." She whispers between sobs. "I am so sorry. I trust you."

"Good. We won't make it out of here if we don't fully trust one another." Your words seem to finally be getting through to her.

"You're going to get me out of this city?" She asks. "Why would you do so much for me? You don't even know me!"

"I know I don't want you to end up at the clutches of those mercenaries." You say. "That's enough for me."

"Thank you." She sobs and says it over and over again. You must now decide. Do you get Cassia out of here first and come back for Eudora, or do you bring her along in your search and hope to get both girls out at once?
