Trish's memories flood into your mind

A lifetime of memories flood your mind. Trish's memories. It's not painful but it feels like someone is pouring knowledge into your mind at an unstoppable rate. You see yourself, from Trish's POV, when she first met you. You experience her first period. You remember what it was like when Trish had her first kiss. Every moment, every intimate moment of Trish's life is available to you now.

For a moment, you all but blank out as your mind tries to cope with the sudden influx. It feels like you have two minds in one now, Trish's memories aren't taking you over but you feel like they are your natural state. Her memories and her body that you're currently wearing feel like they're in sync. Everything just feels 'right'. You feel like Trish through and through. This is what the probably fake Jessica meant. When you have their memories too, that person feels like you. It's no wonder that they were acting that way.

"Listen," you say calmly in Trish's tones, "I know what you mean now. I feel the same things you feel. Honestly, I feel more like Trish than David right now but it wouldn't be right to take over her life. Maybe live it for a while as a taster but I have to give it back. And so do you."

You hope your lecture will get through to the 'imposter'. Sure it's exhilarating to be Trish, to feel her mind and body be yours to command, but with this untapped power comes responsibility. You aren't a killer. Taking over her life or anyone's life for that matter would be tantamount to ****. It would be bad enough if you subjected some innocent person you didn't know to that but this is Trish. Your childhood friend who you've known forever. A dear friend who your Trish memories tell you has harboured feelings for you for some time now. You couldn't take her life from her.
