Training battle

You think about her comments for a moment and then nod. "I guess you're right, training probably will help."

Lauren breaks out into a massive grin, liking around for a moment before grabbing your hand and dragging you off the road into the woods beyond.

"Where are we going?" You ask her, gasping for breath for a moment.

"There's a clearing in the woods just through here, it'll be a great out of the way place to train." Lauren replies.

You follow her, hand in hand for a moment before the pair of you emerge into a large green clearing. "Wow." You mutter, looking around at the beauty of the spot.

"Yeah, it's a great place to battle where we're out of the way from passers by." She pauses, slipping a Pokeball from her skirt belt. "So, a training battle against me?"

You smile at her, moving a slight distance away. "Sounds good." You reply, slipping Squirtle's Pokeball from your own belt and calling out your Pokemon.

"Come on out Vulpix!" Lauren shouts, and the tiny Fox Pokemon bursts out of its Pokeball. "You know, how about we make this more interesting. We could use the same rules you and Blue used. The looser has to take off their shirt until we get back to the road?"
