Towards the woods

Without any landmarks to go by, Rubina couldn’t easily tell which way she was supposed to go. She wanted to find a rest house first, but the map didn’t even have a proper legend. The only thing she could see for sure was a beach, and some woods inland. However, most of the island was like that, aside from one village that appeared very close to the shoreline.

Rubina glanced around, and could see no such village. On one hand, she considered it a good thing, as she wasn’t exactly ready to talk to villagers in her underwear yet. On the other hand, however, she had no obvious landmarks to work with. There were multiple dots throughout the map, which she could only assume were rest houses.

She folded up her map, and put it back in her backpack. Rubina began walking towards the woods, keeping her hands over her bright pink undergarments. Her face glowed with a red color, as she felt very undressed and exposed. She found a little more seclusion once she got past the tree line, but still couldn’t shake the feeling that someone might see her at any moment.
