Chapter 8 by Mogue Mogue

Fight?

Tony drops Mitch before this can get any worse

Louis may not have known how to handle himself in a fight, but Tony had grown up in a rough neighborhood. He had learned how to scrap with kids larger than him from an early age, and knew that size could be a liability for the untrained. He had been lucky to be able to go to college at all, but if one thing defined Tony, he was a fighter. Tony knew he could end this, just hoping he wouldn't get in trouble for it.

"Hey, asshole," Tony said. "I don't think either of them deserve you being here right now."

Mitch turned to the new entrant. "Stay out of this, if you know what's good for you," he growled.

"Or what?" Tony said, noticing the desperation and drunken rage in Mitch's eyes. This might be easier than expected.

Mitch responded by simply throwing himself at Tony, fist aiming for his newest enemy's head. It never connected, as Tony ducked and weaved inwards, using his legs to push himself into an uppercut, impacting Mitch's solar plexus. The **** was enough to spin Mitch to the ground, who was surprised to find himself gasping for air. Mitch quickly braced an arm against the ground and started to stand, but Tony was ready. It was easy to hurt yourself if you boxed bare-knuckles, unless you knew the right way to punch. Tony did. He swung wide at the standing Mitch, landing a hit against his noggin. Mitch dropped again, out cold.

Tony breathed hard, shaking his hand out, as he noticed the room staring at him.

"DUDE! That was awesome!" Louis said.

"Um, yeah. Let's hope campus police see it that way," Tony said. He looked over and saw Marissa standing back a little bit, frightened, and Cassie standing a little closer, something indefinable in her eyes.

"I was starting to think you wouldn't show! What took you so long?"

"I came as soon as you called, man. And waited, as it looks like you were... busy."

"Oh, yeah," Louis said smiling at Jessica, who was definitely no longer smiling and pulling the blanket over herself to cover her ample bosom. "We just hit it off so well, and I didn't think you'd have to - urp - wait at all. Then again I didn't think this guy would show up. Or that we'd be at it for so long" Louis started standing up, staggering a little as he rubbed his sore abdomen, not realizing he was still unclothed. His half-rigid cock stood at attention, 7 inches and still covered in sexual juices. Marissa hid her eyes and began walking downstairs, though Cassie eyed Louis appreciatively.

"Oh," he said drunkenly looking down. "Oops."

"C'mon big guy, let's get you back to the dorms." Louis nodded, starting to put his clothes on while bracing himself against a wall, nearly falling at least once. He winked at Jessica, who seemed to be getting much more sober than he was, holding back tears at the spectacle that had just unfolded.

"Jess, we'll move Mitch downstairs and call campus police, you can lock your room tonight, okay?" Cassie said to the young woman. Jess nodded. Louis lumbered to the edge of the room nodding to Tony. Louis grabbed the oaf's legs while Tony supported his shoulders, and they carried him out of the room and down the stairs while Cassie followed.

"Our parties don't usually end like this," Cassie noted to Tony, as soon as Mitch was nested comfortably on a stained couch. "Mitch is an ass, but only becomes a danger when he's drunk, which he rarely is in this house anymore. Too bad you had to get involved this time."

"Why's that?" Tony asked. Louis shuffled over to a bathroom, maybe to pee, maybe to puke before they left. Tony didn't quite make out which he had said he was going to do, so probably both.

"Not the best first impression... you know, for next time." Cassie responded, smiling a little. Tony's heart jumped a little. Was he getting invited to more parties at the sorority house? She grabbed her phone from her pocket as if to answer his thought. "Here, let me get your number. To let you know when the next party is, and... in case the campus police have any questions."

While a bit of a double edged sword - he agreed. Tony knew he might have to answer to some authorities anyway, as was often the case when **** got involved. He traded numbers with Cassie and the two sent each other quick hello texts to test that the numbers worked.

"Oh, by the way, where did you learn to fight like that?" Cassie asked Tony.

"I... guess just growing up. I lived in a rough neighborhood, so they were necessary skills to hold your own." he explained. he didn't want to go into it much further than that. The levels of crime and seediness where he came from weren't his favorite topic, he preferred to think of his future as a leading biochemist more than the past.

"Mmm," she said, seeing his discomfort. To his relief she didn't push it any further.

"Well, if you need any help looking for an internship, I think I know somebody hiring biochemists," she noted offhand.

"What? Really? That'd be a great help."

"Yeah, he's a friend of my dad's. Setting up a pharmaceutical lab downtown for developing... safer painkillers or something? Don't remember. I'll send you the details later if you like."

"That'd be really great!" Tony said, trying not to seem overexcited. Had coming here tonight done more to advance his ambitions than a weekends worth of studying could ever do? Had his karma finally caught up to him? He tempered his expectations a little, it was just a possibility of an internship, not an internship.

Louis appeared from the bathroom, something wet on his shirt. Tony knew better than to ask.

"Ready?"

"Yeah dude, I'm feeling a looot better. Nap time..."

Which was apparently 6 AM. The sun had yet to rise, as it was too early in the year for that, but it was well past any real definition of bedtime. Tony said goodbye to Cassie and the two roommates left back to the dorms, leaving ΚΗΣ in the distance.

Later that week
