"Well, jump on my command" Daphne said as the group gathered around the steep cave entrance. "Jump" the four went together, but rather than hit hard the ground a last minute enchantment saved them from the perilous fate and softened the fall.

Ariadne prayed for light, her glaive illuminating the large chamber they entered. Signs of recent excavation were obvious, the dragon was still in the process of making room for his lair. "There is something over there" an over turned peasant cart, probably the way it carried back the scarce loot from the farms.

Daphne hated being underground, and her apprehension probably showed. The towering lion man walked close to her, one hand gripping his spear, but the other around her shoulders; his warmth was surprisingly comforting.

"It came that way" Chathi pointed towards one of the side entrances. It didn't appear that anything else lived in those tunnels, but it was better to be safe than sorry. The group proceeded with caution.

"Kossuth's flame" the ranger murmured when she glimpsed the trove. Her friends were equally pleased. The floor was littered with gold and silver coins, there were a couple of marble statues, a framed painting, a few vases and undoubtedly some other items spread around the room. Daphne stepped forward and began conjuring her magic, her fingers and tongue moving with alacrity. "Aw" complained the ranger once she finished, more than half of it was gone "F*cking poser" she censored herself, for some reason.

Next Ariadne stepped forward, once more praying for her Goddess for guidance. She held her holy symbol over her eyes, and said "I see a few enchanted items." A couple of potions, a cloak, 3 swords, a ring, a pair of boots, a suit of full plate mail and a staff.

"So, I keep 2 of the swords and the boots, Ariadne keeps the armor and Daphne the staff? We can sell the rest later." They all agreed to it. Siheow pulled the rest on the cart they had found earlier.
