To travel or not to travel

Pete was scheduled for an out of town meeting the next day. He hated leaving with heavy contention in the air. His options more or less were to overnight in the city or get up at 4 am to leave his house to be to the meeting on time. If he spent the night in the city he could probably feel less rushed and get better sleep.

He didn't have to make that decision just yet.

Pete packed his lunch and helped get the kids ready for school.

Zoe was still being short with him. He attempted to say goodbye before work.

"Hey, I gotta go but was trying to decide whether or not I should overnight in the city."

"You should overnight," Zoe responded quickly." Under her breath he heard her say, "I can finally get uninterrupted sleep."

Sheesh, Pete thought, I guess I'll stay in the city. He packed his bags and headed to the office.
