To the Dorms

Kent took out his phone to check his emails, quickly finding the one with his randomly assigned room number since he flagged it as important. The scenes around campus as he wound his way to the freshmen dormitories were tempting, but Kent was determined so managed to ignore most of them. He also needed to pee.

He turned a corner around the library building and was faced with a wide red brick building, which looked to be six storeys high judging by the windows. Despite its imposing size, the U-shaped dorm had a coziness to it. Kent passed through the welcoming wide doors of the main entrance and it was not as buzzing with activity as he thought it might’ve been. Perhaps it was still early, but he did see a few boxes along the walls of the main hallway to indicate other students in the process of moving in.

He went on the search for his room, number 67, which meant he was on the top floor, which meant stairs. Luckily, being an athlete, this was no problem, and his need to empty his bladder had him skipping steps on his way up. He passed a skinny, short haired brunette on the fifth floor who also seemed to be in a bit of a hurry herself. Obviously a student, she gave him a polite smile along with her quick and obvious visual onceover assessment of his body, which he returned as he watched her walk down the stairs. She was wearing a long gray hoodie that hid most of the white shorts she had on, so only her long slender legs were available to inspect. If he didn’t need to relieve himself so badly he might have asked her for a quick warm up round in the staircase and check out the rest of her, but he made a mental note to properly introduce himself later just in case he saw her in the building again.

Finally on his floor he took a left down the hall, passing by other dorms which were oddly devoid of any other student bodies.
