A farewell
To comrades
Aria felt a tear roll down her face despite her best attempts to show nothing to the guard. "Thank you comrade." The guard put a hand on Aria's shoulder ignoring the flinch it caused, "Captain Gaspar saved my life Matron Aria." The guard retrieved a slip of paper from his robe handing it to Aria "if you should ever call on my gratitude then find this location." Aria stowed the paper in her sleeve, she stared into the mask of the guard more tears welling in her eyes "I thank you comrade, but what of my children?" The guard took it's hand off Aria's shoulder "They're both well in fact they should be arriving today." Aria breathed a shaky sigh of relief.
The guard looked to the sun placing it's hood back into place. Aria watched the green figure stalk away towards the chapel for a moment. The chill in the air rattled a few wind chimes across the street Aria closed the door retreating to her fireplace. She calmed her nerves and tears with the guards words
