To The Bridge

A majority of the marines will go to the science labs so help will most likely be needed most on the bridge you reasoned.

Finally you’re all suited up but this time, it isn’t for any training purposes. You and a hand full of others made your way to the turbo lift you came from. You spilled into the lift and deactivated the security features sending the lift up at top speed. You and your fellow marines stacked up next to the doorway as the doors opened. You are greeted by a storm of enemy fire. Calmly you motioned to a fellow marine to throw a concussion grenade. She threw the grenade and the entire bridge was flooded by intense light and a loud bang.

You ran out of the lift shooting taking down at least one enemy and possibly wounding another. The pirates are… as you expected, mostly women. You looked back at the lift to see two of the five marines you came with dead on the ground outside the lift.

“Shit some of them must have head gear” you silently noted.

You and the remaining three marines peek and fire a few times before getting a handle on the situation. Several of the Prometheus’s bridge crew are dead but most are alive… you guess they were in some kind of negotiation before your team arrived as the remaining crew were close to the pirates when the fray started.
