To Jess' house (stay firm)

Once outside, you walk down the street until you figure your parents can't see you. You stop and take a minute to think. What now... you really don't have a place to go to.

Remembering the previous discussion, you figure you should go see Jess, if only yo ask her to tell Sarah. Thankfully, you know where she lives as you've seen your parents drop Sarah there before in the past.

When she opens the door, she's pretty surprised to see you. You quickly tell her your current situation. "Oh" she says, stammered. It takes her a few seconds to fully register. "Come in."

She moves away from the door and let you in. You two talk for a bit about Sarah and where she's at. Jess often looks at you in a guilty way, like you caught her doing something.

"You sure you don't want to try it?" She asks. "It would just be for a few weeks at most..."

She tries to convince you, though she herself isn't too motivated. Seeing your firm refusal, she quickly drops the subject. She offers you something to drink before leaving you alone for a bit. You can hear her talk on the phone from the other room, though you can't hear what she's saying.

Once she's back, she stands there in the doorway. You notice her shuffling on her feet a bit. Eventually, she says something.

"You can sleep with me tonight. Don't get any ideas, it's just... well, you can, ok?"

Jess' behavior is very surprising to you. She's usually very straight-forward and aggressive.

You take her up on her offer and crawl in bed with her. She hugs you, pulling your face between her breasts, while saying "I'm sorry {you]. For everything."

You don't really get it, but you hug her back.
