Time To Head Home

The thought of being stranded in this world sends a shiver down your spine. As far as you know any money you have is useless and you basically don’t exist in this world. If you got stranded then you have pretty much no way to make a living.

So you left the Museum very nearly at a run, bounding down the steps and heading straight for the park. You are so caught up in your own worries that you barely give a second glance to a woman in a french maid get-up being taken from behind by a guy in the middle of the pavement.

With every step you take you become more and more convinced that the portal will be closed by the time you get there. You start to run, your chest tightening up as the park finally comes into view.

You shoot across the road, very nearly getting run over, the sounds of car horns follow you as you barrel towards the stand of trees.

You don’t even stop to check if the portal is still there, stumbling forward you move through the air where it should be and….
