They walk for about an hour, the man chatting on, mostly in german though he did tell her his name is Dirk and that he has five girls. It did start to rain about 20 minutes in and he stopped to buy an umbrella.

Charlotte was so glad she'd met such a nice family man. He had such a nice voice and he was so handsome.
