They try to run

Rocketgirl lashed out at the woman standing over her and found her blows passed through the smoke without resistance. The smoky form dissipated as Rocketgirl stirred the air, leaving no sign of the woman who was over her and knocked the heroine down. Looking down the hall and seeing Ms Decadence walking towards them, Rocketgirl glanced over at Ultramom who was laying on the floor next to her and did not appear to have the strength to get up, the young heroine knew it was time to leave. “Lets get out of her, you are in no condition for a fight.” Rocketgirl said as she grabbed Ultramom’s body and pulled the mature heroine to her feet. Rocketgirl then started walking towards the exit, dragging Ultramom with her. With the weight of the older heroine the exit looked so far away.

Behind the two heroines Ms Decadence extended one of her hands and a long strand of smoke shot out of her fingers. The smoky trail quickly reached Rocketgirl where it wrapped around the heroine’s face and found its way into her nose and mouth. “You can’t leave yet” Ms Decadence laughed, “Ultramom and I were not done.” From where she was, Ms Decadence could see her smoke was affecting Rocketgirl. She watched as the silver clad heroine released her grip on Ultramom and the mature heroine dropped to all fours on the floor. It appeared Rocketgirl was clutching her neck, gasping for breath as the smoke invaded her lungs.

Rocketgirl fell to her knees and gagged, the smoke was filling her lungs and robbing her of oxygen. She could feel her eyes burning as it seared her throat. Looking at Ultramom, she wished the mature heroine had her powers as they would surely help now. The younger heroine fished into the pockets of her utility belt looking for something that would help her, maybe she had a mask or cloth that would block out the worst effects of the smoke. Rocketgirl knew she had to hurry as the corners of her vision was starting to turn black.
