They battle

Janno looked around as two more men joined Miko and his two cronies on one side of the trail. On the other side, were six men who were leering at them and drawing their swords. His party was trapped in the middle.

Though the odds weren't good, Janno never hesitated. "Your days of thieving are over! Caroline, hold the rear! I'll go after the leaders!"

And with that, the party sprang into action.

Janno charged Miko and his four men in front of him. Right before he got there, a crackling ray of electricity flew over his shoulder and struck one of Miko's minions. The man gave a cry and fell as the fighter heard Elektra cry out, "I got him!"

Dimly, Janno knew that the monk Silos was right beside him as he plunged, sword in hand, into battle. The monk swiftly shot out his hand and punched another rogue with ****, screaming "Ki-yaaahh!" His opponent crumbled the ground.

On the other side, Caroline easily deflected a sword thrust and plunged her own right into the stomach of her foe. The man stiffened and fell limply off the blade. But the other five charged around her. One tried to flank the female fighter, but Gloria came up and smashed his head with her mace. The thief dropped his weapon and staggered to the ground, moaning.

The battle moved swiftly toward its conclusion.
