They arrive at Hilda's stately manor

The two travel back along the road, making meaningless chit chat (or so Hilda thinks) to pass the time.

Thankfully they encounter nothing else along the path, (It's as if some supernatural **** has gotten involved...) and they arrive without incident back at Hilda's ancestral (and soon to be former) lands.

The Brandt estate had long been thought of as a jewel in the kingdom. It had been a part of Hilda's family for generations, their reward for past heroic deeds. The land here was rich and fertile, and had long produced an ample bounty for the Brandt family, allowing them to become quite rich (as proven by all the valuable objects stored within their keep).

The keep itself was also thought to be one of the finest around. It had stood for ages, and had been built by the old Dwarven experts to honor one of the old Brandt's who had saved their king. The craftsmanship was said to rival that of the royal palace.

Of course, Hilda had become quite the spendthrift after she inherited the estate, and her martial lifestyle meant she only kept a few servants around to maintain it, one of which was quickly approaching.
