Chapter 3
by Storm Chyld
What now?
Thers plenty of time for excitment, but you need rest
As morning came, you take out start a fire, in the stone circle Daniel made the night before. Busting out a skillet, and some sausage, you start the makings of a fine breakfast. One of many you've made for your companions during this long trip. But unfortunately, your better supplies are getting low, and soon the trail rations and some spice will have to do.
As the group finishes its meal, Lance rallies all of you, to prepare to move into the dungeon. You deftly disarm the bells you set as an alarm the previous night.
Three of the group are carrying torches for light. Lance, Deseree, and Daniel. Though shadows are your friend, amidst these larger stronger folk, the light is not so bad.
Your lead down the dusty stone hall, and come to a large room, bigger then the light your torch sheds. Around the corners of the dark room, you see little pinpoints, of red glowing eyes. As you continue into the room, your light shows small skeletal rats scurrying away from you, their infernal undead, red eyes filled with malicious intent.
As the group fully enters the room, you can see that the large room has two exits, other then the northern hall you just came from. In the eastern wall sits another iron bound oak door, while the western hall has a hallway.
"Jenny check the door, Deseree glance down that hall." you hear lance command. Without complaint you bounce over to the large door. Sturdy oak, with iron bindings make the door imposing to the brute that would want to break it down. But a quick survey reveals to you the door is both untapped, and unlocked. "Can’t see the end" You hear Deseree call from the other side of the room.
After sticking your ear to the door and listening a bit, you can discern no sounds. Turning about you announce proudly to the others. "No traps, no locks, and I don’t hear anything on the other side."
"Alright the dungeons is ganna be difficult enough, so will take the left wall, and use it to navigate, the best we can." Lance decides, and the party gets ready to move that way.
Let Lance lead, thats what hes thier for.
