There's a stalemate in the driveway

I emerge from the garage to see a floating robot waiting about halfway up my driveway while being stared down by Lena and both barrels of her dual pulse pistols. Cautiously, I walk over to the scene. When I reach about 30m from the robot, he begins to speak, facing Lena, but clearly speaking to me.

"He wouldn't talk to me. Insisted he talk to you" Lena scoffed over the first few words of the robot.

" -ve come to solve this problem with peace instead of ****. That is very promising my pupil." Droned the monotone robotic voice. "My master has sent me to relay the message he would like to give you a chance to surrender the Doomfist gauntlet peacefully"

"What are you?" I ask

"I am not a 'what' I am a being with rights identicle to you Matt Doe. But my name is Zenyatta, I am an omnic monk from Nepal who has recently offered my services to a world peace organisation named Overwatch. I will only ask one more time, will you give up the gauntlet peacefully?" The monotone voice replied.

"No. We will not" I put bluntly. I've seen enough movies to know that there is no such deal as what Zenyatta suggests. "Leave."

"As you wish." Zenyatta pulls something out of his head and hands me a flash drive. "That is all the information I have acquired since my visit here. I hope you will take it as a sign of good faith." With that, it put up a peace symbol with his hand and floated away. As the van pulled away, Mei ran up to me and asked "why did you let him leave? Amelie had a clear shot, we could've made it a six vs four"

"Courtesy my dear. I would see taking that opportunity as cheating, and that's unacceptable. Hopefully the other guy will see it similarly." I say in response. "Widow, did you see anyone else in the van? Can you identify anyone?"

"Sombra was driving, and Ana was prepared to give Zenyatta serious healing" Widow answered as she hung from her tree branch upside down.

"Good to know. Thank you." I walk inside, leaving the girls to whatever they were doing before the intrusion.
