Their Bodies Reshape

The second shockwave came with another feeling of being pushed back or pulled forward, along with a flash of light that could be seen even through shut eyelids. It led to a rather abrupt awakening for Emmett and his wife, while it was the middle of night, and they were supposed to be asleep.

It wasn't that they'd been asleep all that much that night to begin with. Mournful of their sudden loss of sex, they didn't really feel like sleeping. That night, they mostly silently talked about what they were expecting to miss with these new changes, and how their relationship from that moment on would pan out. They'd discovered quickly enough that they were still affectionate for each other. They were confident that their marriage could last for a long time. This was reaffirmed by the fact that they weren't the only ones who'd been affected by the first shockwave.

Nevertheless, the flash of light, and the sensation of pusing and pulling, came as a surprise for the couple, even as they were finally nodding off to get some sleep.

For a moment, Emmett thought he'd have his dick back, but alas, to his disappointment, as he touched the space between his legs, he still found it empty.

"What happened this time?" Hannah asked tiredly.

Her sound of voice was odd. Croaky wasn't the right word. Somebody's voice was croaky after a lot of snoring, but Hannah barely did, and they hadn't even slept all that much tonight. It sounded like her voice was breaking, almost. It sounded somewhat deeper.

Emmett stood up so he could turn on their bedroom light. It took a couple of seconds for his eyes to adjust. "Babe, are you alright?" He asked his wife. His own voice sounded perfectly fine, he realized. "You're sounding strange."

When his eyes were finally adjusted to the ceiling light, he saw Hannah lying in bed, staring at her arms, then her chest, and then, as she removed the covers to get a full picture, her legs as well.

She typically only wore panties at night. Nights in their shared bedroom, sharing one bed and snuggling each other from time to time, it could get hot. Tonight was no exception for her.

Thus, it was easy enough for the two of them to discover just how she'd changed.

"Where are my boobs?" Hannah asked Emmett in wonder, baffled by the transformation that had altered her so drastically. Her chest was meager in comparison to what it used to be. Almost flat, actually. There was no pang of disappointment from his side, but, had he still had his sexuality intact, he could imagine it would've been saddening to him as well. There was still visible breast tissue on Hannah's chest, but it was not much, compared to the breasts she used to have.

As Emmett approached his wife, and she stood up to better check herself out, he was surprised at the amount of height she'd gained because of the change. "You've grown! You're almost as tall as me," he gasped in surprise. It felt like a thing he'd say to a child, once they had their growth spurts, and suddenly surpassed the heights of all adults they met.

"Babe, your hips." Hannah said. She was pointing at his legs.

Although it wasn't too noticeable for him, since his upper body was still broad and masculine, his wife had discovered what had changed about him as well. His hips had widened slightly, and his legs had grown more feminine. His legs were actually the most obvious body parts that had changed for him.

Where Hannah had always been keen on shaving any hairs she could find on her body, legs, armpits, arms, groin, Emmett was more keen only only shaving his nether regions. For that reason, where they couldn't see it on Hannah's legs, the hairs on Emmett's legs had undergone a minor change.

He had thicker thighs, which may have added to the calculation. His feet were more petite as well. The hairs on his legs had grown thinner, with some even falling off as he rubbed his hands over the skin. In the end, only about half of his leg hair was left, and only in a very meager and almost unpresentable state.

The realization of the way these changes were developing actually shook Emmett to his core. Everybody lost their sex yesterday afternoon. Nobody was either male or female anymore, from a biological viewpoint, despite keeping their identity as men and women. Along with their sex, they also lost their sexuality and everything else that part of their identity stood for. Because of the effects some hormones had on the brain, and the consequent loss of those hormones after the first shockwave, people started thinking more rationally, if only for so long. Then came the second change. Emmett's wife had suddenly grown taller, and lost most of her feminine pride, with the loss of both her vagina as well as her breasts. As her legs had grown taller, her ass had shrunk, to accomodate further changes away from womanhood.

Emmett's legs, on the other hand, were transforming increasingly into those of a woman. Wider hips, first and foremost, along with thicker thighs, less visible leghairs, daintier feet, and, he realized, a bigger ass to accomodate with.

The way these changes were enfolding, Emmett had an idea that they weren't even halfway there yet.
