Doctor Tom Will was still nursing a headache, from the run with with Josh whatever, his last name was. The fool rushed into the quarantine area, at least the quarantine was still in place.

“At least the infective and pathogens departments are happy they get to study the ‘catgirl virus’ right from the onset of infection. “

His phone rang, it the the front lobby telling him that his daughter and her babysiter were here. He took off his coat and stethoscope and dropped them over his chair and went down to meet them.

“Daddy,” young Samantha Will shouted as she saw her dad step out of the elevator. He waved them through, “It is not a great time to be here,we are in the middle of a medical problem.”

“Sam, wanted to see you.” the babysitter said apologetically.

“ Let's go up to my office,” he said as he ushered them past the extra security that the hospital brought into look after the patients and those who were infected with the virus.

They just got to his office when he was paged down to the infected quarantine zone. In the rush he grabbed his coat and after kissing is daughter. Then he headed down to see the new emergency.

Sammie got bored with her tablet, shortly and around for something new to play. That was when she saw the stethoscope lying there. She picked it up and put them on.

“Cassandra, can I heart you heart?”

“Sure, Sammie. “ Cassandra unbuttoned the top of her blouse for Sammie to try and fund her heartbeat. Sammie stared wide eyes at their three red cat scratches on her chest.

“Did York do that to you?” She asked her babysitter and she reached them over her heart. “Do they hurt?”

“No.”

so Sammy up the earpieces in her ears and began to feel around over the red scratches for Cassandra’s heartbeat

Trace amounts of the virus from Kitty's saliva was on the stethoscope has now made contact with the open scratches caused by Sammy's cat. It was able to enter Cassandra’s bloodstream and began to multiply,soon there would be enough to enact the changes in the host it was programmed to do.
