The side entrance

I take a deep breath working my way in the side entrance. It looks not quite as used as the main entrance , I figure this way should have any storage rooms for anything they dont want to keep out in the main room.

Stepping inside I take a moment or two to listen for anyone inside , trying not to get caught, as I will be taking something from here. All I hear is my heart beating and a slight breeze blowing through the temple, it is a good bit cooler inside this stone structure. The place is eerily quiet , a bit odd as much as it is used. I take another quick look outside to see if I am being watched and duck inside.

Ducking inside I smell the damp walls, thank god its cooler in here , its a bit dark in general as there are no torches or any light in this section so I get my Flashlight to work. I pull it out it flickers a little before I tap it on the stone wall and it pops on properly. Taking a deep breath as I walk inside the damp air fills my lungs giving me a bit of relief from all the long days in the jungle so far.

Shining my light around I see that this is normally lit by some small fires in the middle of the room or even torches It looks like a ceremony prep room, seeing robes hung on the walls and some jewelry in little bowls next to the robes , looking at the jewelry it looks to be for women its a mix of gold and emeralds. I look at it thinking if I took a few of them, I could pay for a trip to Europe after all this. I have always wanted to go there for a month or so. I look at the jewelry and the corridor to the main area where my goal must be.
