The second epilogue.

Tavia eventually wakes up, far out on her back the middle of the plains. After opening her eyes, she remains there for what feels like hours, just thinking about everything. Her body shudders. Finally, she gets up, and makes a trek back to Nichonia.

She arrives, and finds her way to the Backway Inn. She doesn't stroll through with her usual arrogance. Instead, she remains silent, and to herself.

The same bartender spots her, and he waves her over.

"You're back, ma'am! Surely the dungeon has been bested then, yes?" he asks.

"No..." she mumbles.

"No?"

Just like before, she makes her way over, and pushes a shy, small girl out of her way--the same one as last time.

Tavia hangs her head dejectedly as she leans on the counter. Never before has she been in such a position, though that's been the case with everything that's happened so far this day. Her gigantic ego has been deflated. Truthfully, she's even feeling self conscious about her tiny skirt, and the rest of her attire. It takes her several moments to work up the courage to look directly at the man behind the counter.

"I failed," she says, almost gagging. "I wasn't good enough. I didn't clear the dungeon."

Her eyes turn to the shorter girl, who seems too timid to even call Tavia out. When she notices she's being looked at, she flushes red, and her head descends between her shoulders.

"Hey," Tavia says.

"H-Hi," the girl mumbles in response.

"I'm... sorry. I've been a jerk. I didn't mean to push you out of the way."

"It's okay," she whispers.

"No. It's not. I've been a jerk to everyone. Let me buy you a drink. It's the least I can do."

Night eventually falls on Nichonia. With the ERO Dungeon still remaining, perhaps one day in the future, someone will be strong enough to best Domia and her cruel, lewd designs. But for now, that isn't the case. It sits waiting for its next victim.

Tavia never went back to that dungeon. Rather, she never entered any dungeon again.
