The return of your allies, and a new path forward.

By midmorning, you see three distant figures approaching along the road. You wait until you can make them out, then, recognizing them as your friends, you step out to meet them.

They are understandably surprised by the two new additions to the mansion, but you tell them your story, and they settle down. You omit the dragon from your tale; though you are unsure why, you feel that you should not speak of it to them.

The four of you get your new prisoners sufficiently restrained in the dungeon, and reconvene in the main hall to discuss your next move.

"Well, we have some good news for you Ulric." Dorian begins, his tone pleased.

"Well? Don't keep me in suspense." You answer wryly.

"in the next town over, Shallowbrook, young men are being **** by a band of slavers."

"Oh" You smile. "I see." then, frowning, you ask: "Why young men? What are they using them for?"

"Well," Dorian replies "From what I have gathered, they are members of the church of Saeletra. I think they are keeping the men as breeding slaves."

"So, we liberate the slaves and they come to us as soldiers for our cause?"

"Exactly."

"Alright, well to do that we need to know a few things. First, how many slavers are there? Second, how well armed are they? And third, where exactly are they? Then, after we free the slaves, we will need a place to meet them. they cannot come here until we are sure they can be trusted. Lastly, we will need equipment for a fight, weapons, armor, and whatnot."

The three other men nod at you.

"Well then," You proclaim. "Let's get to work."
