Will you enact the plan?
The regions in and around Theodos (background information)
The nation of Theodos resides on the eastern tip of the continent Nialle and the western tip of the continent Kura. The nation extends several hundred miles each way and they have total control of the Aze-magon channel that separates Nialle and Kura. Theodos' main export are luxury goods and grains though the mainstay of the nation's income resides with tolls and government sanctioned plunder and piracy. The nation is split up into roughly five regions.
Metropolis: Consists of the capital city of Agrenon, several outlying towns and also the sister city state of Kalipsos. It is the economic, political, and cultural hub of not only Theodos but also the region that Theodos resides within. The city of Agrenon is situated upon the eastern edge of the continent Nialle though the city has expanded over to the Kura side in recent years. The city's main income is in import fees, sea tolls, manufacturing luxury goods, and also government sponsored piracy. Agrenon and the Metropolis region is truly a sight to behold!
Brailla: This region is both the home of Theodos' agricultural center and also the colonist Sigmir peoples from the northern isles of Albena. The Sigmir are known as good fighters and farmers and have turned Brailla into an agricultural center for the region. Due to the incredible use of both Sigmir troops and the income their farming produces, their mass immigration to the region is ignored despite calls from the Temple to forcefully convert the Sigmir people.
Osolyosissa: Osolyossia is the northern border region that separates the Metropolis region from the northern plains. Osolyoissa was previously a major economic hub before the rise of the plains raider tribes began to raid into their region and take away most of the wealth. Over time, most people either retreated into the cities or moved away. Osolyossia's primary income is slavery as its coastal towns typically find the **** trade more lucrative than fish.
Nagramon: Nagramon consists of the western tip of Kura that is not included in the Metropolis region. This is the smallest region that is mostly populated by religious figures and people who serve the Temple in some fashion. This is because the western tip of Kura used to be home to the holy city of Nagramon. After a sacking and eventual religious rebellion, Nagramon was left mostly in ruins. As a result, Nagramon practically has no income, only religious significance.
Kuraile: Kuraile is the mountains just to the east of Nagramon. The area is sparsely populated except for mining camps and forts. The region is deceptively important however, as Kuraile provides the metals that are needed by Theodos to maintain the military. Without Kuraile, the military would likely be scrapped due to the immense cost it would put upon the government's coffers.
Outside of Theodos' regions, there are four within the immediate area.
The great plains (North-West): The great plains are wide, open steppes in which many a tribe call their home. These tribes typically attempt raids down south into Osolyosissa. However the large Osolyo river which separates the great plains and Osolyosissa prevents any large **** from crossing on horseback efficiently, therefore no serious invasions or settlements of Osolyosissa or the great plains have ever been undertaken.
Ogoros (South-West): Ogoros is a temperate, coastal land where much of the population remain farmers. The area was initially the regional hub but after Agrenon was founded, the area's wealth was slowly sapped away. This region is known for its crops, old dynasties and many decaying forts.
The Aegis Islands (South): The Aegis Islands to the south of Theodos are a number of city states that make up a path-work quilt of a culture and ethnicity who are the Aegisian people. They are typically on the receiving ends of the many government sponsored piracy ventures.
The Yulayan Mountain Range (East): The Yulayan mountain range is a resource rich but rather empty area in the world. The main population consists of various nomadic groups, though there are a number of states on the coast. Beyond this range is another open plain and the Yulayan Mountain Range is typically thought of as one of the few things that prevents an invasion from nomadic raiders.
