The red haired woman

Johnny's stomach sank a little as he saw the red haired woman from his class siting behind the desk at the front of the class. On the desk was a folder with his name on it. as Johnny walked in his mouth got real dry and his already shaky nerves were telling him to run but the second the woman gave him a warm smile it seemed to lesson some.

""Mr. Smith... Or can I call you Johnny?" The woman asked. "My name is Jean Grey. I am glad you found my note and decided to meet me. I was afraid you would.t come. Please sit down there is a lot to talk about."

"Look I don't know what you think is going on..." Johnny said sitting down. "But I don't this seems a bit sketchy."

"I'm sorry Johnny." The woman said. "With everything going on in the world today I thought you might want more privacy to talk about being a Mutant."

Johnny's stomach lurched. How could she know. He hadn't used his power in a long time. Not to mention only very few knew his secret and of those he knew none would give it a way. None of them even knew what his power was but how could...

"Calm down Johnny." Jean said in a soft voice. "You are not the only mutant in this room. I am one too. I was sent to you by Professor Charles Xavier, a mutant that wishes to help mutants and humans live peacefully. He can detect mutants and on some cases invites them to his school where he can help train them on how to use their powers safely. He sent me to recruit you to his school."

"So he knows what I can do then?" Johnny asked.

"You are an odd case Johnny." Jean answered as she opened his file. "Ceribro, thee devices that detects mutants normal can get a read on a mutants gift. However all it could detect is you were an alpha level mutant with potential of being and Omega level. I was sent to find you because with my power I can read minds. I was to use that gift to figure out what yours was. But when I tried I could not read your mind at all. It was like your mind is shielded. That's why I followed you for a little bit to find out what you could do. However when you did not use your ability once in the week I have been following you I knew it would be best to just confront you."

Johnny didn't know what to think. The woman he was talking to just admitted she was following him for a week. He wondered what she knew about him. He could use his power on her and get the information out of her. Or perhaps he could out smart her and trick it out of her.
