The party

My parents had gone all out for my 18th birthday party, decorating the back yard and swimming pool area like a Hawaiian luau. About a dozen of my classmates were in attendance, including a couple of girls i was interested in. My brother and Amy acted as the chaperones, with mom and dad retiring to the house once the barbecue had been served.

"Happy birthday," my brother said with a grin. He gave me a brotherly fist bump and surveyed the teenagers who were waiting for the pool to officially open. "Hell of a party, bro."

"Happy birthday," Amy said, leaning over and giving me a big tight hug. She paused for a moment and whispered in my ear. "We can keep earlier between us and just consider it an early birthday present." She kissed me on the cheek. "Now tell me which of these girls you have your eyes on."

There were three in the group that i did in fact have my eye on.

1. Rhonda, a short, petite redhead with a cheerleader body. She a reputation of being something of a slut.
2. Crystal, a basketball player with long, athletic legs. She was a beast on the court, but kind of quiet and reserved in person. She had already signed to play ball in college.
3. Kate, a bookish girl. She was very cute, but something of a nerd. Beneath her khaki pants and sweaters was what appeared to be a smoking hot body, but nobody had ever got close enough to tell tales. At 18, she had never been on a date, but not because she hadn't been asked.

"Hey boys and girls, its party time!" My brother announced as hw stripped off his shirt and cannon balled into the pool.
