Danielle emptied the box and reread the card a half dozen times before her eyes settled on the small metal box she'd put aside. Getting ****, she gave it a closer look, feeling along its sides for some kind of clasp, a dent, anything. As she felt it over, there was a small click and a side sprung open, revealing a tiny usb drive. Both relieved to find some direction and increasingly alarmed at what she'd gotten herself into, Danielle scrambled to open her laptop and anxiously slid in the drive.

The usual warnings about "unidentified publishers" and "give access to computer?" appeared and she hastily clicked through. To her alarm, an instillation started up and finished before she could click "cancel". The screen darkened and the cooling fan kicked into high gear, "Nononono, what are you doing?!" Normally she'd go to her son to fix computer problems but she couldn't imagine explaining this. What if he found something about the underwear? Just as she was reaching for the power button, the screen lit up, displaying a message:

Welcome, Danielle Smith! You have just installed Redacted, since you were able to find this drive you are already wearing your Redacted, you naughty girl! You are probably very confused and maybe even a little scared right now but don't worry! We have a step-by-step procedure laid out just for you:

At the bottom of the message is a small flashing button labelled "activate", the screen is otherwise pulsing a dark purple. Danielle stared at the screen, mouth slightly ajar. That didn't tell her anything! She was more confused after she opened that stupid box! "What the fuck are you doing Thomas?!" Resisting the hysterical urge to scream, she instead thought over if she had any of Thomas's contact information. They had been together before programmable numbers and she'd never emailed him. Checking the box revealed no return address. "Dammit." She looked back at the screen. "Maybe if I just follow the guide, it'll tell me how to take this damn thing off..."
