Chapter 3

Where to?
The kitchen
You stroll into the kitchen, a slight bounce to your step as you think about the day to come. Honestly, you were kind of excited. You got an early finish as the afternoon teacher was absent and you go out with your best friend Abby.
You see your mother and sister in the kitchen. You greet them both with a good morning. Your mother was a middle aged woman, she had kept herself in shape but age was starting to catch up. Wrinkles were starting to appear on face and her hearing wasn't as clear as it was maybe 5 years ago. Not only that, but she had stopped going to the gym out of fear of hurting herself. You then look at your sister. She was 2 years older than you, making her 21. You never really got along, but you couldn't deny her beauty. She has beautiful shiny blonde hair, dark blue eyes, full lips and a beautiful body to follow suit. You sigh, wishing you looked like her. You then shrug and take a seat. "Any plans today, Kimmy?" your mother asks, giving you a loving kiss on the cheek as she serves you breakfast.
"Oh no.. not really. Im spending time with Abby once classes are done... So, how's working going?" you dig into your plate of food. It wasn't often your mother cooked bacon and egg for breakfast. Hell, she usually slept in until after you were gone.
You share idle conversation with your mother until you've finished eating. Placing the dirty dishes into the dishwasher, you say goodbye and head out, grabbing your backpack on the way.
Usually you get a lift to college, but today you decided to take the bus. It would give you some time to think. It was a sunny morning but there was a slight breeze, making it a little cold. You sigh, wishing you had brought your jumper. You shrug it off and wait next to the bus stop, waiting for the bus to appear. Late... Typical.
What now?
